The reason we, humans, develop communication technology is so that we can be social and exchange information without being in the same room. The technology, effectively, gives us a “room” to communicate. So my text conversation is no less valuable than the same conversation had face to face, it’s just a different method to do the same thing.<br/><br/>We’re effectively creating an abstract “space” that we communicate in with one other or a group of other people. It acts the same as a physical space and (more and more every moment) allows us all the same interaction we can have face to face.
